I must confess that I watched the season premier of Jon and Kate Plus 8. I'm not proud of it, but I was drawn to the carnage like a moth to a flame. I have to say, it was pretty sad. If those two can salvage their marriage it'll take more than a miracle, it will take Jesus as their marriage counselor.
I don't really have a strong opinion about who did wrong or what they should do now. I mean, sure, Kate is a bossy bitch, but Jon is a lolly-gagging goof. They're a perfect fit. And are they exploiting their kids for money and is Kate putting the show before her marriage? Maybe. But those kids got to eat. I realize there are lots of families with too many kids that don't have the same money making opportunity, but I assure you they would take it if offered. We all want to think we'd pass on the money, the fame, and the amazing opportunities, for the sake of our family, but would we really? Or would we convince ourselves that we were enduring fame for the sake of our family. Who knows?
What I do have a strong opinion about is this: Why the frac were those five year old crumb snatchers sitting at the dinner table in high chairs? Even little Tubbs has been out of a high chair since he was 18 months (and he's not the smart one)! WTF.
Get those kids out of high chairs and then get your marriage together before you ruin the lives of six kids. Jeez.
